Second

Seconds (minutes, hours, days, years, decades, centuries...)
Seconds (as in second helpings: second breakfast, elevenses, luncheon, noon tea, dinner, supper etc.)
Second (glass. Just a smidge more wine, please.)
Second (chances.)
Second (time.)
Second (birth, coming, and death.)

Here I am. I just finished having seconds from dinner along with my second glass of grape juice.

This song and video seem mildly appropriate. It's from one of my favorite movies.

To finish my previous thought, I believe I found my answer. 
Truth is valid. I stand upon it. It is precious; I claim it.

The thought stemmed from Ephesians 5 and Romans 12. What is the will of God?

My answered came from a complete stranger in my small group at PCC. I was asked my opinion of the topic relevant to The Sermon on the Mount. I posed the question that had ferverntly been on my mind. She gave me an answer I already know. Confirmation, much, eh? Yep. Carry THE NAME. 

Carry the Name wherever you go; that is in the Lord's will. Stop stressing. Don't be afraid. Carry the Name. Carry it well. That is the Lord's will. Consider the context of this song. I was there when it was recorded. I was amoung them. I was the atmosphere; my voice is in the crowd.


It made sense to me. I've been given a beautiful opportunity. I am being given a second chance, a second heart, and I have chosen to take the the same opportunity give a second chance to someone else.

This song is a little fun. But it has nothing to do with my life. In fact, it's contradictory.
