La Vida Chilena - - Day 2

Today has been wonderful.

Church today was so encouraging to my heart. The sermon was on Genesis 24.
Great things come from small and humble beginnings My steps are set. I am here for a purpose. Nada pasa sin un propósito. Stay faithful, stay the course.

A break away lunch taught me the word cazuela. ¡Que deliciouso!

Then nosotros tres escapamos. We found an open air market and a kind man who only knew a few words: eyes, beautiful, and kiss me.

Finding our way through the metro, we went to the hotel for a rest. We found an old friend on Skype... such a comfort and hilarity to talk to him. How blessed am I for such fun community

How blessed am I that I am exactly where I am.

Time for gelatto and café. Hasta la próxima!

Music.

EDIT: A few days later, we ran into the same couple on the subway! There are 6 million people in this city. How ironic that we see the same couple on the subway!! I explained to them how I made it a personal goal not to look like an American on the subway. They laughed! But in my manner of greeting them, I totally blew our cover. Hahaha!
