Today we went to Valparaíso y Viña del Mar. Valparaíso reminds me of the Boca area in BA. And the beach was wonderful. It was warm. I've never felt sand like that either. I was probably the first to run into the waves, clothes and all. Within five minutes, I was exhausted. I frequently sand camped. Eventually I made it down the pier, talking to the locals, treating myself to a birthday dessert, and people watching. It was super nice to take in the experience alone. Napping on the bus was a good experience also.
The alcohol isn't worth mentioning.
I haven't touched anything. It's super liberating.
Honored. How wonderful the community that surrounds me! We got back from being gone all day. We showered and got cleaned up. We went out to a super nice restaurant (probably the most expensive I've ever been to), and then they threw me a surprise party... cake and all. I am so honored! I would never have imagined it! I am celebrated! And I am tired :).
Only one thing could make this day a little better...
but honestly, I am super content... I am wholly content.
